SOG 4-4 TASK FORCE 14-1 RESPONSE PLAN
A. Scope:
This guideline shall be utilized for HFC Task Force Response to all reported building and dwelling fires.
B. Guidelines:
- Camden County Communications shall dispatch the Task Force as “Task Force 14” for all reported building and dwelling fires in accordance to HFC dispatch firebox protocols and give the location and nature of the call.
- Task Force 14 initial response shall consist of 2 engines, 2 ladders, 1 BLS Unit. (Engine 14, Ladder 14, Engine 2-1, Ladder 1324, BLS 1457 subject to availability).
- The additional unit(s) shall respond with minimum staffing as outlined in SOG 3-1.
- Upon the IC upgrading the box to the “All Hands” Camden County Communications shall dispatch 1 additional Engine, 1 Rescue, and 1 ALS Unit, ISAT Team, Camden County Fire Marshal in accordance to HFC firebox protocols.
- Camden County Communications shall dispatch cover companies in accordance to HFC firebox protocols.
- If any dispatched company has an additional full crew available in station, they shall notify the County Communication Center by landline and standby until dispatched, if needed.
- Upon notification from the Incident Commander for an additional alarm, County Communications shall dispatch the Cover Companies to the scene and replace cover companies at the HFC with the next Cover Companies.
- Any available Chief Officer(s) from a toned Task Force Station(s) are welcome to respond to the Command Post to assist with command tasks.
- Any available Camden County Fire Marshal in area is permitted to respond to the Command Post to assist with Command functions or to supplement crews.
